(1) The prevention or relief of emotional, spiritual or financial hardship in Filwood ward and surrounding area by providing access to advice and services which might not otherwise be accessed through lack of means.
(2) To promote social inclusion* for the public benefit through developing the capacity and skills of individuals in Filwood ward and surrounding area to enable people to identify and help meet their own needs and to participate more fully in society. *i.e. Feel part of; where all people feel valued, their differences are respected, and their basic needs are met so they can live in dignity. These relate to the importance of the links between the individual members of our society and the role of each person as a member of this group
